Chai Chuah

Chai Chuah is the Chief Executive of the Hutt Valley District Health Board. From 1990 to 2002, Chai was with the Canterbury DHB in a variety of roles ranging from General Manager of Finance and Information Systems and Logistics to Acting Chief Executive for seven months during 2001. Chai chairs a range of national and regional committees including the 21 DHBs CEO Information Group, National Steering Committee for the implementing of the Quality Improvement Committee programmes, Central Region Technical Advisory Services and Central Region Services Development Initiative Services Committee. He is a member of the DHB CEOs Executive and was a member of the Ministry of Health National Capital Committee. He chaired the national steering committee charged with the development of the 2005 New Zealand Health Information Strategy.

John Eyles

John Eyles is an artist, educator and businessman. He is married with four children and lives on a small island in the South Pacific called Waiheke. John wears five hats: Visiting Fellow, Auckland University of Technology; Research and Alliances Leader, Telecom New Zealand; Chair EON Foundation; Director of a new media company, and shareholder in English-To-Go, an online education company he co-founded in 1998 that has customers in 150 countries. He has been playing, learning and doing business on the Internet for fourteen years. Graeme Osborne

Graeme Osborne is the General Manager, Information Management, ACC. From 2001 to 2006 he was the Group Manager, Information and Business Services at Statistics New Zealand. He has considerable experience working in the financial, health insurance and information technology fields. He is the chair of the refreshed Health Information Strategic Advisory Committee, a member of the Land Information New Zealand Audit Committee, a trustee of the Computer Access New Zealand (CANZ) Trust, and a member of the Institute of Directors. He was a member of the Health Intranet Governance Board, a member of the e-GIF Management Committee, a member of the Digital Strategy Advisory Group , and is a past chair and board member of the Telecommunications User Association of New Zealand (TUANZ).

Malcolm Pollock

Malcolm Pollock, Chairman of the New Zealand Health IT Cluster, has been a leader in the development of health technologies aimed at improving the quality of health care delivery for nearly 20 years. He was co-founder of Health Informatics New Zealand (HINZ). Malcolm is also Director of the National Institute for Health Innovation. He believes much more can be achieved through the effective use of technology to improve health outcomes and ensure equality of access to health care services. He is particularly interested in ways in which we can harness the collective will of the entire health sector, working within collaborative frameworks, to stimulate health technology innovation and diffusion.
